Hands-On AI + STEM Learning Student Can Build, Test, & Create

Students use engineering, science, coding, and AI literacy to build, test, solve problems and create.

Two Pathways. One Future-Ready Learning Experience

KNT offers two complementary AI + STEM learning pathways designed to build foundational AI literacy, digital citizenship, critical thinking, creativity, and hands-on problem-solving skills.

Curriculum

Ready-to-use project-based lessons, facilitator guides, student materials, assessments, and the KNT I.D.E.A.S.™ Framework.

Hands-On STEM Kits

Materials and equipment students use to build, experiment, test, redesign, and create.

Training & Support

Professional development, implementation guidance, and ongoing program support.

AI STEM Literacy™

Foundational AI literacy, digital citizenship, responsible AI use, critical thinking, and age-appropriate exploration of how artificial intelligence works and impacts everyday life.

Hands-On AI + STEM Learning

Project-based learning through engineering, science, coding, design, and hands-on challenges that help students build, test, create, and solve real-world problems.

AI STEM Literacy™

Course Guide

Program overview, instructional guidance, pacing, and resources for delivering the AI STEM Literacy™ curriculum.

Foundations of AI

Students build a foundational understanding of artificial intelligence, what it is, and how it is used.

Asking Better Questions

Students develop stronger questioning and prompting skills for more effective interactions with AI.

Reading & Writing with AI

Students explore how AI can support reading, writing, communication, and language-based learning.

Math & Problem Solving with AI

Students apply AI alongside mathematical reasoning, critical thinking, and problem-solving.

Ethics & Responsible AI Use

Students explore responsible AI use, ethical decision-making, and appropriate use of artificial intelligence

Mini Project & Reflection

Students apply their learning through a culminating project and reflect on what they have learned.

Assessment & Feedback

Assessment tools and feedback help measure understanding, progress, and application of AI literacy skills.

8 Hands-On AI + STEM Learning Experiences

Students use engineering, science, coding, and AI literacy to build, test, solve problems, and create.

Let's Code

Students use an unplugged coding game to build algorithms, sequence commands, use loops, and debug mistakes as they program a path from start to finish.

Catapult Challenge

Students build, test, and improve a working catapult while exploring force, motion, energy, measurement, and how engineering decisions affect performance.

Slime Science

Students investigate polymers and chemical reactions by creating slime, testing its properties, changing variables, and using evidence to improve their formula.

Float &Flow

Students design, build, and test miniature sailboats while exploring buoyancy, wind, stability, and how sail and hull design affect performance.

Balloon Car Lab

Students build and race balloon-powered cars while investigating propulsion, force, motion, friction, and how design changes affect distance and speed.

Light It Up

Students create working paper circuits using LEDs and conductive materials while learning about electricity, polarity, circuit design, and troubleshooting.

Zippy Bots: Robotics & Motion

Students build a vibrating bristle robot and investigate motors, circuits, balance, friction, and how small design changes affect robotic movement

Wind Wise

Students become weather scientists as they build and test a working weather vane, explore wind direction, collect data, and improve the instrument’s accuracy

Flexible

BEST FOR

AI + STEM Expanded Learning For ELO-P | Grades 3–6

KNT offers a California configuration of its AI + STEM Expanded Learning program for Grades 3–6, designed for afterschool, summer, and intersession programming. Districts can choose staff-facilitated implementation or selected KNT-facilitated delivery based on program needs and staffing capacity.

AI + STEM Expanded Learning Lab

school-year enrichment.

AI + STEM Summer & Intersession Lab

non-school-day programming.

Curriculum + Kits + Staff Training

scalable district-facilitated implementation.

More Than Two Decades of
Learning By Doing

Kids N Technology was established in 2002 with a simple belief: students understand technology best when they can explore it, question it, build with it, and use it to solve real problems.

Technology has changed dramatically since then. Our hands-on philosophy has not. Today, KNT brings that same approach to artificial intelligence, coding, engineering, digital citizenship, design, innovation, and future workforce skills.
